Positive luxury

Positive Luxury (www.positiveluxury.com) is the company behind the first of its kind interactive trust mark - the Butterfly Mark – which is awarded to luxury lifestyle brands that take pride in their craftsmanship, service and design, whilst caring for their employees and suppliers. With the help of their experienced sustainability council and external institutional partners, they have designed a robust assessment process that evaluates companies across the following five areas: governance, social framework, environmental framework, philanthropy and innovation.

To be awarded The Butterfly Mark, companies are required to respond positively to a minimum of 80% of questions in the assessment process and are further required to provide additional documents to support their application. This robust selection process ensures the highest level of sustainability for their community. Companies within the trusted Positive Luxury community are required to re-apply on a yearly basis. The Butterfly Mark offers wordless reassurance that a brand can be trusted.

In October 2015, Positive Luxury announced the appointment of Storm Keating as their Brand Ambassador. Her duties span marketing and PR responsibilities including development of digital content, co-creating products and acting as a spokesperson for the Positive Luxury brand and its ethos.

Storm has always taken a keen interest in environmental responsibility and social good, working with the likes of Cancer Research UK, Cancer Council Australia, Plan and The Marie Keating Foundation. She exudes a refreshing authenticity and positive approach to every aspect of her life, making her an ideal representative of the brand and to fulfil her role.

Commenting on the new appointment, Positive Luxury CEO and co-founder Diana Verde Nieto said: ‘I am very excited to welcome Storm to our growing team. Storm’s creative background, passion, integrity and strong values make her the perfect fit for the role. She epitomises Positive Luxury, as she leads a fantastic but responsible lifestyle, investing in positive brands. We are looking forward to working closely with her.’

Storm Keating commented: ‘I am so excited about this new project as there is a natural synergy between what I believe in and what Positive Luxury does. This is a fantastic opportunity to help change the face of consumerism for the better and shape the way luxury brands do business. By raising awareness with consumers and helping direct their purchases to more ‘positive products,’ we can also shed light on brands who are investing in social good and environmental responsibility. Our aim is to encourage even more brands to integrate sustainability into their business processes, in order to benefit the generations to come.’
